Weekly Meeting, Models and Make-Up

This morning I had my belated weekly meeting with Holly and the rest of the placement students. This meeting was very Bloggers event orientated, and basically a checklist of what we’ve done so far, an update on what we’re currently doing and a distribution of what needs doing next. Straight after the meeting Holly gave me a spreadsheet to fill in with the models details, which then meant I had to go searching for the models currently working in the festivals department at Oxfam so a could get their contact details and measurements. I’ve never had to take someones measurements before so at first I felt quite awkward, but everyone was very kind and helpful which gives me hope for the event to be fun and run as close to smoothly as possible.

I also had to phone, Nustrat, the make-up artist, which I was very nervous about as I never like to phone people. Although Nustrat may be working and unable to do the event, she asked if I could email the information and photos of what kind of look we’re going for so she can ask her colleagues and find someone else to send us, which is extremely helpful and gives me great hope that we won’t have to continue our search.
