Starting Placement Year

Tomorrow is the first day of my first placement as a textiles teaching assistant at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College.
On this placement, I should be working with all years but mainly focusing on a small group of year 10 students, teaching them new textiles techniques ready for their GCSE work. I start at 8:30am and finish at 3:20pm, with the opportunity to also be involved in after school clubs.
I imagine my first week will involve a lot of shaddowing other teachers and getting to know students and staff. However, I don't really know what to expect which makes me quite nervous.
